Fate or faith?

We had the pleasure of meeting Dr Aly today at the Cumberland Infirmary.

Thank you PALS for your help.

It was everything and more!

He said the tests carried out by Dr Indra were most useful and asked that I email a copy of them all to him. These test results should follow Molly and be attached to all her medical records for future reference and consideration.

We talked about what’s been going on for Molly over this past two years. He reviewed, the endoscopy and gastric delay emptying results.

He suggested I give him the details of all Molly’s MDT attendees and that we all meet and work collectively.

He said I can contact him directly with any concerns.

He gave me details of his availability and his direct NHS email address.

I honestly feel joining both teams together will be the best way forward.

He listened.

He said for Molly to stay in her supplements recommended by Dr Indra.

He explained so much but I will wait for the summary of the meeting to explain more. Right now it’s a bit of a blur, but I know it all made sense during the meeting.

We shook hands and I left the consulting room which a big fat smile!

There is still light, still hopeful.

Ps. no sickness for Molly this past 48 hours. She sang this morning in Church🙏🏻 she is doing her best despite all her issues and I can’t ask for more than that.

She keeps on keeping on.
