Today a special friend would have been 64 but sadly we lost her way way too soon 3 years ago.

I still have the baby blanket she bought for Molly 27 years ago and when I went to see Molly tonight she was in her bed resting with a different blanket Tracey also bought for when she moved into MOUNTVIEW. Molly also has a beautiful sequinned cushion in her bed off Tracey which when the sequins are down read ‘hello Molly’ and then it disappears when the sequins are pushed up.

Tonight I dedicate this post to the beautiful Tracey B, I still feel I could call your number, I still look for your house when I pass through my hometown. At our school reunions we all miss you, when Strictly season starts I miss you, I miss seeing your new spectacles (they were always a bit special).

I remember you eating carrot sticks for lunch in the St Nicholas gardens during our shared lunch breaks when you were at the Halifax and me at the Tax office.

I was your bridesmaid my one and only time, a great honour, I remember it all! I am grateful for our stories, time spent together and raising our children along side one another. The memories remain, they are mine to keep.

You live on through your beautiful family Sophie, Zander, Siggy and Cece….
