Amisulpride:

·

A broken heart but the light still shines through….

Yesterday we had a meeting in relation to the concerns over Molly’s current presentation.

Outcome: Bipola hypomanic episode, to be treated with Amisulpride.

This drug is primarily excreted in its unchanged form by the kidneys.

Primary route of elimination for most of antipsychotics is hepatic metabolised.

Hepatic metabolism refers to the liver’s crucial role in processing and transforming substances, including drugs, toxins, and nutrients, into forms that are easier to excrete or use by the body. This should hopefully work better for Molly according to the functional psychiatry test we had done last year.

Chasing results from gastric delay study, no further forward with sickness problem. Just got through now – the results are in Dr Shabana will review them next week.

Please pray for Molly. 🙏🏻

Now let me see….
