œufs nucléaires

Molly went to the Nuclear Medicine Department at the Infirmary in Carlisle on Monday for a Gastric Emptying Study.
Basically she had to eat scrambled eggs on toast with a radioactive tracer and then a radioisotope scan would take a picture every 15 minutes for one and a half hours.
I picked Molly up at 7.45 we arrived in time and with some persuasion she sat and ate the scrambled eggs with toast. So far so good, into the radioisotope scan room where we described what she needed to do, stand in front of a screen for one minute.
Unfortunately we left without the imaging, there was nothing or no-one that could make her do something she had decided wasn’t happening. That’s, just how it is for anything, Drs, dentists whatever….. sometimes appointments can go smoothly and sometimes they don’t.
As frustrating and exhausting as it is, we have to move on, can’t dwell on the fact that this was hopefully going to help find out why Molly is vomiting.
Now let me see….
A disappointed C x 😩
We’ll try again hopefully🙏🏻
