Happy birthday Molly 28 today đź’•đź’•đź’•
Now let me see….
Since I last wrote it could be said there has been improvement however my concerns about Molly remain, she seems overmedicated and still has problems with her gut, sickness and her bowel.
After her recent CT scan in A&E Molly is currently still waiting for her sickness and stomach pain to be investigated.
Monday coming I will be connecting with a private Functional Psychiatrist from Leeds. Traditional psychiatry is a symptom based approach whereas Functional Psychiatry looks at the root causes of psychiatric illnesses.
Hopefully they will be able to assess and help Molly, I will keep everyone posted. I hope there will be a happy ending for Mollys sake, it’s sad and painful to watch all the bloody awful side-effects of the medication.
She is literally on the go, she has a tremor, she sometimes staggers and falls in to things. Her emotions are all over the place, she never sits unless she is eating or in church. Her tolerance is low, it’s so hard for her to say what she means, she changes her mind constantly causing her to be combative, irritable and cry at the drop of a hat.
From her recent psychiatric review the plan is to look to reduce Quetiapine further and potentially start to reduce the lorazepam which woke her from the catatonic stupor state. The RADS dr will attend the next MDT it’s a chance to get everyone in the room to gather everyone’s opinion.
Luv C x
